A.R.K
Named after the Ark of the Bible, which protected animals from extinction - a goal relative to the original task of the organization, which is to protect the public - the A.R.K is a nearly independent branch of the government, providing super and anti-super human services to the US government and its allies. Known for its deadly efficiency, A.R.K agents are referred to as the highly specialized and trained women and men of the World - the majority being former members of the CIA and FBI. As such, this makes them very dangerous and lethal, even to those with Inhuman Abilities.
Often criticized for employing those affected by the Meteor's radiation, A.R.K is formed up of a variety of wings that have been developed to cover a wide spectrum of needs and demands made by the public and the government. One of the most prominent wings is the Science and Technology Department, which is infamously known for its currently unsuccessful experiments on those affected by the Meteor.
Although an enigma shrouded in mystery to the common man, it's said that the A.R.K is a frequent topic of rumours among the more elite circles of society. Universities and their graduates often fall prey to the overpaid positions offered in the organization, as the A.R.K continues to expand, slowly working its way to a Global Stage of Operations.
Its Head Quarters are located in Brookville Ridge, although many similar facilities are dotted around the country, allowing more access to intelligence. With the growing level of their database and high level of information at their disposal, these agents are dangerous adversaries.
